We are passionate about connecting children with plants and the natural world!
At the Gardens we have two full time experienced and qualified educators on staff who develop and deliver our education programs. Our educators offer a variety of inquiry based learning programs from preschool to senior secondary.
The programs are aligned to the Australian Curriculum, employ TfEL pedagogies and where possible, have been constructed with students. There are multiple learning experiences available for students at the Adelaide Botanic Garden with new programs being developed for both Mount Lofty and Wittunga Gardens.
Educator Led Learning Programs
Don’t know the Gardens that well? Not a problem! Book your students in for an educator led session!
All our learning programs are delivered by professional, experienced teachers. Our goal is to connect all students with plants so they can make informed decisions for the future.
Our multi-disciplinary learning programs reflect key concepts in the Australian Curriculum, encourage collaboration and incorporate interactive learning opportunities. Pre and post visit learning resources are available to strengthen and enrich the learning attained from the session.
